“HARNESSING LIMITED RESOURCES
WITH BIG IMPACT”
Dr. Eve Nakabembe, senior lecturer, consultant Obstetrician
gynecologist, and Global health advocate. With over 15 years experience in
both Global Health and Obstetrics -gynecology, Eve is a recipient of several
awards including Uganda’s National Heroes Medal: Golden Jubilee Medal
and the Rising star Award Grand Challenges. Her work focuses on multidisciplinary
approaches to reducing Global Maternal Newborn Morbidity
and Mortality, an area in which she has written and published.
Eve will be discussing her work in addressing health inequities in Uganda, harnessing
low resource innovations with big impact, and challenging participants to reflect on how local
health inequities can be addressed with low resource innovations.
